PC accessory maker Buffallo will be providing wireless internet access to those visiting the World Expo in Japan via a Solar Powered Blimp “SoLan”. Four wireless access points will be installed inside the blimp, and will fly about 30 to 50 meters in the sky above the EXPO Dome and other locations.
It’s not an entirely wireless setup though. A cable will connect the blimp to the ground and get the signal to the wireless access points in the first place.
