We recently blogged about the art installation Vancouver School by artists Douglas Coupland, Graham Gillmore, Angela Grossmann, Attila Richard Lukacs and Derek Root. So this weekend I made my way to North Vancouver and checked it out. Wow, what an amazing installation. Why? Aside from the fun and whimsical ways the group repurposed old school artifacts, it rushed me right back to a place in elementary school during the 1970s; sights, smells, sounds… Clever. I asked permission, then took these photos.
