The Regional Assembly of Text

What happens when you mix a cute gift shop with a raging typography fetish? The Regional Assembly of Text on Main Street in Vancouver, BC. Nearly everything in the store is hand made by the two artist-owners Brandy Fedoruk and Rebecca Dolen. Featuring iron-on letters, alphabet magnet sets, journals, t-shirts, cards, buttons, silkscreened boxes, chalkboards and many other text-inspired items are displayed on kitchy old shelves, tables, filing cabinets and typewriters. Rumour is that they own a functional letterpress that they will rent out by the hour. This is the kind of store serious type junky graphic designers love to get lost in.
