Stumbled on The Playground this morning which is an experimental site presented by Rick Valicenti. (of 3ST among others. Anyways the premise of this site is to “to create an alphabet of 26 characters illuminated not to start a sentence, but to begin a thought” and there are some interesting and thought provoking type faces. (downloadable by the letter!)
Being the tech head that I am though I dug a little further into these 3 sites (The The Playground, Rick Valicenti and 3ST) are all non flash, standards compliant websites build with XHTML, CSS and Javascript. As a user, I’ve watched the rise of Flash and I’m kind of conditioned to equate movement with Flash. And a huge props to the “Apple + U: View Source” for this one!
