Banksy, one of the most infamous and influential street artists around, recently created a stir with the unauthorized installation of his own artwork in the Brooklyn Museum, New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York’s Museum of Natural History and the MOMA. In his words: “This historic occasion has less to do with finally being embraced by the fine art establishment and is more about the judicious use of a fake beard and some high strength glue.” The works can be seen at Wooster Collective.
