  • We just want to get the most from our communications spend. Translation: We're incredibly cheap.
  • Our current logo was actually designed by the president's personal assistant. Translation: They're no longer an item.
  • We have a whole library of really great photography. Translation: Our CFO has a digital camera.
  • The copy's almost perfect - we've just done a bit of wordsmithing. Translation: A committee of drones has rendered it unreadable.
  • We have a new chief with a new vision. Translation: I don't have the guts to tell you it was my decision.
