We were down at the Vancouver International Film Centre last night for the Siggraph presentation of “Vancouver Does Visual FX!” featuring a brilliant presentation by Marc Roth of The Embassy. I won a copy of the Can Con DVD from this year’s resfest. One of the shorts that immediately caught my attention was Guy Roland’s Spacer. Somewhat Gondryesque, repetition has rarely looked so beautiful.

Man, this Roth guy is hot sh*t. I can’t believe the amazing, awe inspiring things he had to say about the VFX industry. All I can say is IM SOLD. VFX ALL THE WAY!!!!!!
