Looking for a fabulous new piece of art to fill that akward empty space above your couch? Look no further – check out Ryan Heshka, whose retro space paintings combine robots, monsters, flying saucers and pin-up girls. He highlights his colourful art by using contrasting mediums such as pages from old books or wood paneling. He’s a member of Jupiter Project, a collective of illustrators in Vancouver, BC Canada and is showing at The DvA Gallery in Chicago, Illinois from Sept. 23 to Oct. 24, 2005.
