It seems so obvious to use glass to recreate the effect of water drops splashing. How it’s done maybe isn’t so easy, but who cares when you can buy it! These beautiful pieces comprise a collection called Soft Explosion by sculptor Jeff Zimmerman for Stuben Glass and are based on photographs by Dr. Harold Edgerton, the inventor of flash photography.
