If you’ve heard of IDEO, the famous industrial design company, you might also have wondered just how they create one brilliant innovation after another. Wonder no more! IDEO has created a set of 51 “Method Cards” that show some of the methods they use to inspire great design. There’s also an interesting article in Fast Company about these titled, “Out of the Box“. I think we’re going to have to pick up a set (or maybe you’d like to send us a set IDEO? Hmmm?). We’re going to re-invent the common household drain plug…unless they’ve already done that too.
