All this week is Icograda Design Week and IBC will be in Seattle covering the event as part of TAXI Design Network‘s international media coverage. Special emphasis will be on the International Conference July 14 and 15, with presentations from the reknowned leaders in the communication design industry such as Jacques Lange and Christopher Liechty. Our reports, interviews, reviews and photos will be posted on www.designtaxi.com later next week, but in the meantime we’ll be posting a few photos and highlights from the event, so stay tuned!
IBC is excited to attend the event and honoured to be part of TAXI ‘s team as this is the first time the conference has ever been held in the US. Icograda Design Week is an international forum for discussion about the role of design in the face of incredible change in the world. It will address how designers can contribute to a healthy world economy while being mindful of the cultural, environmental and political impact of design. The event is presented by Icograda (International Council of Graphic Design Associations) in partnership with the AIGA Center for Cross-Cultural Design.
