Stereogum has a great review of the live Gorillaz show in NYC last Wednesday. The show featured a fourteen-piece string orchestra and the plexi-glass encased silhouettes of Cass Browne, Morgan Nicholls, Simon Tong, Simon Jones, and of course Damon Albarn.
I guess they are saving their holographic/animated tour until next year.
