
While reading a recent interview on ihaveanidea.org I was interested to glean some insights into the twisted minds of director duo The Perlorian Brothers, who’ve brought us some strange advertisements recently. As a part of the Toronto based production team Reginald Pike, these guys have put together a bizarre, but impressive commercial reel. Of particular note is their short film entitled “Thinking”, a revealing, rather sarcastic look into the creative process and development of commercial advertising. I appreciated the innovative use of symbolism and visual language such that not a single word is required to understand the message. Sometimes the original, simplest idea is the strongest. :-) Check it out.
