Banksy Strikes Again!

Banksy is at it again. The British Museum recently discovered an unauthorized addition to their Roman Britain gallery that depicts a caveman pushing a ‘supermarket trolley’. The piece (which has become known as ‘The Peckham Rock’) has since been removed from the gallery; however, as an interesting sidenote, the British Museum has agreed to loan the piece to the upcoming exhibition ‘A few of our favourite fiends’ which opens tomorrow at The Outside Institute. It will be on the wall there until June 19th – at which time it will return to the British Museum’s permanent collection. via Wooster Collective.

Saw the show at the weekend.
Some great work and some rather bad work
there… Was a bit like a student show, but the work that really stood out for me was Eine, letter work, Insect for an
amazing pinball style glass panel work, insa, with some nice simple colour graphic work, Banksy rock was there, and
a couple of others that I can’t remember. Worth a look for those artists anyway.
