As I walked out of the Vancouver Art Gallery yesterday (after checking out the Brian Jungen exhibit), I noticed a sign pointing down towards UBC Robson square saying “Swell – Future Friendly Design Exhibition”.
I went and checked it out and it turns out it was part of 30 Days of Sustainability, an annual celebration and awareness program about sustainability.

And how was it? I wasn’t able to make it to the opening but would love to hear a report-back, especially from one who works in the field of design.
Thanks!

It was pretty cool. I didn’t know anything about the 30 Days of Sustainability so it was a pleasant surprise to bump into the Future Friendly Design Exhibition.
They had a lot of cool items on display. My favorites were the Bambu bowls and the beer bottle glasses and wine bottle decanters.
