The Writers Guild of America has published a list of their 101 Greatest Screenplays. Few surprises in the Top Ten but it is nice to see people like Charlie Kaufmann and the Coen Brothers getting the nod. I thought that Patrick Marber’s screenplay for Closer was some of the best movie writing I have come across as of late but I guess it is technically a play first and a movie second. Have they missed anyone?

huh…yeah…. We are also missing Lost in Translation. That’s strange since Sophia Coppola won an oscar for it?? I just caught it on cbc again last week – so good!
